Where do these landscapes come from? They don’t start out intentional, I have no idea where they are headed but at a certain point this one seemed to just appear. They become art therapy for me as I journey into the painting. I might labor for awhile, with the back and forth of color and shapes and values, but in the end a new day is born. I feel it’s energy and it’s peace. I hope you can rest here for a moment.
